App Annie continues to rebrand with the release of new product names on January 15, 2020 via the world's best mobile analytics platform.
Over the past year at App Annie, we've had hundreds of conversations with our customers. Some of those conversations revealed that we must rename some of our key products, capabilities, and features to better communicate the value they provide.
The Annie app is in the midst of our corporate renaming. We are confident our updates will help you grow your mobile presence, competition and monetization. It is important to note that the name changes we announce will not affect the capabilities, products or services that you have purchased from App Annie.
You can look forward to seeing the following changes starting January 15th.

Web Journey (formerly the mobile web) reveals a user's journey from a mobile web browser to a mobile app. Web Journey illustrates the web-app interaction while providing insight into how users behave on each channel. For customers curious about the full course of mobile behavior, Web Journey has the answer.
The Download Channel (pre-paid and organic or "POD" downloads) helps you understand how users discover apps before they download. We can show you whether paid ads, organic searches or an app store feature are the source of the download. Understanding where your downloads come from allows you to allocate marketing resources more efficiently. Learn more about Download Channel.
We'd love to hear from you. We encourage you to contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager to discuss these updates in detail. In addition to this post, we send an actual letter announcing these changes to our customers who are currently using these products.
For potential customers who want to see a Web Journey or Download Channel in action, please contact sales for more information or schedule a demo.
