Playstation 4 has sales of 76.5 million units

It is clear that 2018 will witness the breaking of the Playstation 4 sales record for the PlayStation 3 platform, which reached 80 million units.

Sony released its financial results report for the last quarter of 2017, which included as usual sales updates for the PlayStation 4 platform.


The company stated in its report that it sold 9 million units of the PlayStation 4 platform during the fourth quarter of 2017, including 5.9 during the holiday season.


Thus, the total sales of the PlayStation 4 platform reached 76.5 million units by the end of 2017, taking into account that sales also include the PlayStation 4 Pro platform.
