Pokemon Corporation has just announced that it will give us an official update about when Pokemon Go will be getting new Pokemon on December 12th.
Pokemon Go was the undisputed king of games over the summer when millions of augmented reality turned into pocket monster goodness. The numbers started declining as we went into the fall and the problems inherent in the game were being ignored by Niantic. Recently, however, after the events of Halloween, Thanksgiving and a number of other initiatives the number of people playing Pokemon Go has been slowly rising again.
It won't be the first new Pokemon
Most recently the game received its first new Pokemon when the Ditto transformation form was added to Pokemon Go. Today's announcement means it won't be long to be joined by Ditto by a whole host of new Pokemon. We hope to look at the full Gen 2 list but we'll have to wait until December 12th before we know for sure.
