Samsung announced the Galaxy Buds this year alongside the Galaxy S10 series. And those who ordered any of the Galaxy S10 phones got a free pair of Galaxy Buds with their order. It looks like we'll have a successor next year called Galaxy Buds + but that won't look any different from the original.
Images of Galaxy Buds + were found in the latest version of the Samsung SmartThings app by the folks at XDA Developers. The new app version number is 1.7.41-25, and the app details reveal an animation for a product called “budsplus”.
Animation shows the earbuds in a white case similar to the ones on the Galaxy Buds, confirming that the design of the Galaxy Buds + will remain unchanged. Other than the animation, no other information about the buds was disclosed. We hope that more details will emerge as it begins shipping to the retailers.
Prior to this discovery, Evan Blass and tech blogger, told SamMobile that there would be a new pair of Samsung wireless earbuds. The Galaxy Buds + should be launched alongside the Galaxy S11 series next year, but we can't say if Samsung will include it again as a free gift alongside pre-orders.
