Samsung announced a new affordable member of the flagship Galaxy Tab S series a couple of months ago, while the full flagship model, the Galaxy Tab S5, has yet to arrive. And while doubts have arisen over whether it will preserve the signature of the S Pen, which has been dropped by the electronic model, a new report comes that comfort us.
A reliable source has confirmed that the flagship model will come with the S Pen. It also gave a launch timeline to look forward to - the Galaxy Tab S5 is coming around the same time as the Galaxy Note10 release.
Over the past five years, the flagship phablet has always been launched in August, so Samsung will likely keep the tradition alive. Only two months to go now.
Finally, the report also mentions some Galaxy Tab S5 specs. The tablet will feature a Snapdragon 855 chip, 6GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage with the 64GB base variant skipping. The last two generations of Galaxy Tab S devices launched with previous-generation chipsets, so it's nice that Samsung is finally developing its tablets so quickly.
