US-based Verizon published the Android Pie update for LG V40 ThinQ units on its network last month, followed by AT&T two days ago. Now, another US carrier - the US Cellular - has released its latest Android version for the V40 ThinQ.
The firmware is broadcast over the air and has version number V405UA20A_02. In addition to bringing in Android Pie features, it also brings together a two-month security patch in April 2019.
However, the LG V40 ThinQ in South Korea is also updating to Android Pie. The build comes with V409NO20c and includes the May 2019 security patch instead of the April patch that US Locked Units got.
OTA should reach all modules soon, but those who can't wait can install the update manually through LG Bridge.
