HTC starts upgrading the U11 phone to Android Oreo 8.0 in August and HTC promised to update the U11, U Ultra and HTC 10 phones to the latest version of the Android system, which was officially announced at the time as Android Oreo 8.0.
The Taiwanese company has not broken its promise and officially launched these days the HTC U11 upgrade process for Android Oreo, starting from the mother country of Taiwan, where phone owners started receiving the update on their phones.
The 1.33GB update brings all the features of Android Oreo to the phone, such as auto-fill, picture-in-picture, improved battery consumption and alerts collection, in addition to more than 60 new emoji and other features as well as the usual fixes and improvements to the phone.
Certainly, the update will make its way to all U11 owners in all countries soon.
