YouTube TV gets a new channel guide

YouTube TV has grown into a compelling TV service, and the company is constantly adding improvements to it. Currently, YouTube TV is testing a new channel guide that will show you a picture-in-picture user interface.

Google has many streaming services and platforms for users to watch their favorite content. Notably, there is Google and Android TV. YouTube TV has become a mainstay on these and other platforms due

to its wide selection of content to watch.

YouTube TV is testing a new channel guide

Being able to navigate the interface is an important part of any streaming service. Since YouTube TV is a TV service, it has a guide available that shows you what shows are playing on the channel. Traditionally, YouTube TV would only have a network of shows filling the screen, but the channel guide is only for a bit of a renovation.

Now, an update is rolling out that gives it a new look. Now, the top of the interface is left open and shows you what I showed. Above it, there is a description of the featured view. You will be able to see the title, description, and rating of the offer.

On the right side of this section, you'll see a picture-in-picture window that shows you what you're currently watching. This makes it look more like what you see on traditional TV fronts. It also makes the overall look a lot better. You can continue watching the current show or movie as you browse through your shows.

If you're looking forward to this change, the company is currently in the process of rolling it out, so you may need to wait if you don't see it right away. If you're not, be sure to look in the app's settings and check to see if you have an update pending. On Android, tap and hold the app icon and go to the App info section. From there, tap on Application Details to see if you have the update.
